When you call me, when you go to pray to me, I will listen to you. When you look for me, you will find me. Yes, when you seek me with all your heart, you will find me with you, says the LORD, and I will change you." (Jeremiah 29:11-14)
This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible! I just need to know that God loves me in a deeply personal way. That he has plans for my life. I'm not just some random collection of molecules in the universe ... and I'm not just person number 3,435,245 to God either. He loves ME and is waiting to bless me. Wow! But here's what we sometimes forget -- we have a duty too. To seek God. Not just half-heartedly, with our whole heart. Now here's a question: think about what you were doing the past 3 or 4 Friday and Saturday nights. Were you seeking God with your whole heart? Remember, He's waiting to bless you!
